Administration Assistant | Disputes & Insolvency (Brisbane) We have an exciting opportunity in our Disputes & Insolvency team for an Administration Assistant to join on a part-time or full-time basis. In this role, you will be supporting our team of Paralegals with a range of administrative tasks whilst also gaining on-the-job mentoring, training and support. This opportunity will be well-suited to a diligent, customer-centric individual who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to progress their professional, legal career. The role Our ideal candidate will have an element of transferable experience in an administrative setting and be part way through their law degree. The working week could be anywhere between 3-5 days. Accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism will be essential in this role, as you will be responsible for supporting our legal team and ensuring that documents are prepared in a timely manner. Your responsibilities in this role will include: Preparing basic legal documents and correspondence. Preparing and issuing monthly tax invoices and receipting monies. E-filing documents with the Court. Diary management. File management, saving emails and correspondence to files. Directing telephone enquiries. Opening new files and undertaking conflict searches. Archiving files. Mailing out documents. Other general administrative tasks as required. Role requirements As this is an entry level role (or suitable for somebody pivoting their career), we recognise you may not have prior experience. What is more important to us is your high level of attention to detail, motivation and commitment to learn. In addition, you will have: Outstanding time management and a strong commitment to consistency. A natural inclination for taking initiative. A self-starter but also thrives in a collaborative work environment. Confidence in building lasting relationships with colleagues and clients. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite, as well as a natural flair for technology.
