Reporting to the Principal Innovation & Cloud, you will be responsible for supporting the company's digital innovation and transformation strategy by assisting with the development and management of projects that enhance efficiency and service levels. You will contribute to digital initiatives and the management of Microsoft Azure cloud services, working under the guidance of senior staff to deliver business value. Duties: Collaborate alongside senior engineers to develop and implement cloud strategies. Monitor and enhance cloud resources to improve performance and cost-efficiency. Engage in the evaluation and adoption of emerging cloud technologies. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues. Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies. Support clients with advice on cloud-related matters and assist internal and external teams to deliver cloud solutions. Assist in implementing infrastructure as code solutions and programmatically solving problems. Skills and Experience: Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. A degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, IT) or equivalent industry experience. Proficiency in infrastructure scripting and automation, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Bicep, and Azure CLI is highly valued. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Problem-solving abilities, with the capability to troubleshoot and optimise Azure applications, ensuring security and compliance. Continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
