Location: RAAF Base Amberley Category: Trade / Operations Position Type: Permanent Job Reference: BOE/1845681 The Opportunity Boeing Defence Australia's (BDA) Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Team, based at RAAF Base Amberley, is looking for an Aviation Technical Skills Training Coordinator to support Super Hornet and Growler maintenance teams within the Air Combat Electronic Attack ACEA Sustainment Program. Responsibilities: The successful applicant will help to manage the progression of junior Aviation Tradespeople through the different MEA modules and authorisation levels within the maintenance team, primarily focusing on Journal task completion and guidance. They will also mentor, coach and assist in the upskilling and progression of all members of the maintenance team. Trainee Tradesperson Management: Support mentoring/monitoring of trainees MRO Military Aircraft Maintenance Licensing & Upskilling: Manage and oversee the ACEA Military Aviation Maintenance Licence (MAML) progression process Liaise with MRO management and personnel to establish their training requirements Engaging with TSI and RTOs to identify appropriate course availability Coordinate with Responsible Manager and Quality Assurance representatives to identify, implement and track post graduate verification of competency Implement and coordinate continuation training programs and track currency requirements for MRO workforce MRO Resourcing: Analyse current and future ACEA MRO Resourcing (workforce) needs and implement strategic initiatives to support workforce requirements Experience/Qualifications: Well-developed understanding of Aeroskills Training Package Experience and knowledge of DASR Part 145 and its relationship to Part 66 Part 66 Part 147 Strong and effective communication skills and ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including building strong relationships - RTOs, MTOs, Apprentices & Trainees Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Certificate IV in Aeroskills or other relevant trade background NV1 clearance Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence Security Requirements.
