For more information and client case studies please visit one of our main company websites: listonce.com.au Employee Benefits include, but are not limited to: Security and stability of working within a well-established (20+ years) and highly regarded dev house Diverse and interesting work / projects 3 - 4 days per week Work from Home (WFH) Modern and comfortable offices which are close to cafes, shopping centre and transport Learn and get support from friendly, proficient colleagues with diverse technical backgrounds Flat hierarchy - lean structure means your voice and ideas will be heard Dedicated training and development opportunities for every member of the team Role Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend systems and applications Deploy and monitor code changes with robust quality assurance procedures Investigate, analyse, and resolve software issues and malfunctions Contribute to project planning by providing advice on efficiency and timelines Implement automation to optimise internal development and business processes Integrate third-party software through APIs and ensure system compatibility Upgrade existing software solutions with advanced technologies Create and maintain technical documentation for various software products Test, debug, and review the codebase to meet high-quality standards Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve overall efficiency Essential Requirements (must haves) include: Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar 3+ years full time experience in software development with Python/Django strongly preferred Troubleshooting and diagnostics for software issues Experience with API integrations and automation processes Experience and knowledge of SQL Ability to work efficiently with Atlassian JIRA Other desired attributes (but not essential) include: Team leadership or supervisory experience Experience with systems administration (Linux) Experience and knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Knowledge of servers, web hosting and web-based security issues General expectations of all team members include: Team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude A deep care for high quality dev work and attention to detail Personal accountability for time management, deliverables, testing and QA Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence and ability to communicate directly with clients Be across new technologies and concepts to improve services for clients Commitment to maintain and build on our friendly and supportive team culture Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to demonstrate their abilities with examples of their work.
