The Role - Full Time QT Hotel are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our award-winning Banquets Operations team. This is a critical leadership role within our conference and events department, ensuring seamless execution of day conferencing and evening events while fostering a positive and efficient team environment. What you need? The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience in the field of day conferencing and evening events, with a proven ability to manage multiple functions across various venues within the hotel. While working closely with the team on the floor, you will take ownership of service execution, problem-solve in real time, and maintain the smooth flow of operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Success in this role requires a strong service-first mindset, confidence in managing daily operations, and the ability to make decisive, well-informed choices throughout service. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences are essential. You’ll also need to bring a team-first attitude, fostering a work environment that keeps staff engaged, motivated, and performing at their best. Reporting to the Banquet Operations Manager, this role comes with a significant level of autonomy. The successful applicant must be comfortable taking ownership of the service flow, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish, and making key decisions to maintain operational excellence.
