Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Services Team Lead to join our Clinic department in South Hedland. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality clinical services within the community. Responsibilities: Provide clinical support and guidance to nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, and clinical staff. Lead problem-solving in clinical operations and manage staff performance. Facilitate effective teamwork and ensure compliance with clinical policies. Service Coordination & Quality Improvement Oversee recall management, clinical consumables procurement, and Medicare billing . Ensure adherence to WMHSAC standards, RACGP, and QIC accreditation requirements . Lead risk management and incident response within clinical services. Education & Training Identify staff training needs and coordinate in-house and external education . Work with Health Promotion to develop client education materials . Data & Reporting Manage clinical data collection and reporting for funding purposes. Ensure timely submission of reports and maintain compliance with accreditation standards. Health & Safety Compliance Enforce infection control policies and conduct training. Maintain a safe working environment following health and safety regulations. Desired Skills and Experience Management/Leadership qualification and/or 4+ years experience in clinical leadership (Primary Health Care setting). Strong clinical skills and experience in people management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and willingness to learn health software. Valid driver’s license. Experience in community, remote, or Aboriginal health settings. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills in a clinical setting, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact on community health.
