Conference & Events Operations Supervisor About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Conference & Events Operations Supervisor to lead and support our food and beverage team. In this role, you will oversee the execution of event operations, ensuring exceptional service and seamless event delivery. You will be responsible for supervising and training staff, managing daily operations, and upholding high service standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and coordinate the Conference & Events food and beverage team to ensure excellence in service delivery. Oversee the setup, execution, and pack-down of events, ensuring smooth operations. Manage bar and barista services, ensuring high-quality beverage preparation and service. Handle rostering, stock control, and ordering to optimise efficiency and minimise waste. Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) regulations. Operate and manage POS systems for accurate billing and reporting. Provide hands-on leadership, fostering a positive and motivated team culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, and internal stakeholders. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism at all times. Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role within hospitality, preferably in Conference & Events. Strong background in high-volume food & beverage operations with a focus on events. Proven leadership and team management skills. Experience with bar and barista operations . Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in rostering, ordering, stock control , and POS systems . Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Professional personal presentation and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate .
