Cost Reporting Specialist (12-month contract) Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Cost Reporting Specialist to join their Sustainable Infrastructure Business Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation of Planning Delivery Together (PDT) and New Ways of Working (NWoW). As a key business partner, you will be instrumental in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, as well as performance and efficiency measures. Your expertise will support the management of PDT and NWoW, ensuring sustainable infrastructure for a healthier future. What you'll do: Contribute to the development and ongoing management of PDT and NWoW implementation Support Senior Managers in understanding NWoW business impacts and driving its implementation Monitor implementation progress and business impacts alongside Senior Managers Assist with recruitment in collaboration with HR Business partners Provide business partnering services to stakeholders at varying levels Deliver sound financial input and advice to Senior Managers of Capital Delivery Infrastructure Management Office (IMO) and Infrastructure, Planning and Strategy teams (IPS) and Engineering Perform detailed analysis on monthly reporting against PDT business cases, variances against budget, annual forecast movements, and monthly costs Review projected costs and savings in line with PDT Business cases outcomes Participate in continuous improvement activities within Sustainable Infrastructure What you bring: Experience in capital work program including financial, schedule, and pipeline information is essential Extensive infrastructure asset knowledge is essential Advanced user of Microsoft Excel is essential Demonstrated successful experience in business partnering and building strong relationships to drive outcomes is essential Significant project accounting experience is desirable Demonstrated competency in analytical tools such as Power BI is desirable What's next: Apply today by clicking on the link.
