Coogee Chemicals is an innovative and highly successful private company pursuing growth through the supply of industrial, agricultural and mineral processing chemicals to the Australian and international markets. Our Chlor-Alkali manufacturing facility located in Lytton QLD produces Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid and Caustic Soda for the water treatment industry, swimming pool industry and local industrial customers. We have a dedicated distribution network that services our clients throughout QLD and NSW. We are seeking a permanent full-time Customer Service Supervisor to join our Customer Service team. This role is to support and drive the development of Coogee for the future and ensure our customers have a positive and efficient experience. The role also sees someone providing leadership, training, and development to the customer services team and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Coogee’s product range Provide leadership, training, and development to the customer services team Develop and support a positive team culture of continuous improvement Review and improve systems and processes Contact customers via phone and email regarding orders and deliveries (e.g. customer queries; delivery allocations; proof of delivery) Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of customer queries and coordinating with other departments Ensure a high level of accuracy in data entry, customer records and delivery information across the team The successful candidate We are looking for a committed and dependable leader, who has: Previous experience with customer service in a leadership role The ability to build long-term internal and external relationships Good levels of computer and administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or other customer/financial management systems highly regarded Highly organised with attention to detail A positive and friendly demeanour with an excellent phone manner Experience working in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive deadlines Ability to prioritise work with excellent time management skills For the right candidate, this is an exciting opportunity to join a secure, well established and successful business and take the next step in your career.
