Our mission in Australia is to help accelerate the Country’s transition to renewable energy. We do this by building virtual power plant (VPP) resources that solve new challenges created by the intermittency of variable wind and solar power stations. The Role In this role, you will join a world-class operations team that is working to connect new businesses to our VPP. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Energy Markets, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering on innovative ways for distributed energy resources to participate in the electricity markets. Managing demand management programs across Australia, using data-driven models to predict system peak load Ownership of utility and customer operations of our battery energy storage portfolio Analyzing the market data for Australia and New Zealand to deliver insight to Program Managers Analyzing electricity meter data from our portfolio of sites across the region Providing analytical support and approach for Program Managers across the regions Conducting market analysis for both domestic energy markets Conducting financial analysis for our demand respond and energy portfolios Managing/Assisting in market settlement and reconciliation processes Finding ways to improve our processes to be more efficient or less error-prone Key To Success In order to succeed in this role, you will have the following attributes: An intellectually curious mind.
