Junior/Middle Database Developer (SQL)

Job Description

- Participate in solution design and development of database solutions. - Extract and mine data using SQL. - Work as part of a larger DB team to provide ongoing Production support to our customers and internal staff. - Investigate Production issues, find root causes, apply appropriate fixes or change requests, and document the process. - Join us to take on complex, large-scale systems and data warehouses, gain valuable experience in the fast-growing automotive industry, and be part of shaping the future of automotive technology. - Collaborate with senior database developers, enhancing your skills and advancing your career. Your skills and experience - 4+ years experience in SQL. - Optimize and streamline Stored Procedures and Views. - Experience in legacy database conversion and data mapping. - Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolutions to data-related issues for new and existing systems. - Work in a production environment, managing large and complex volumes of data. - Strong data analysis skills. - Understand performance tuning, monitoring, and indexing strategies. - Administer SQL Server instances and understand agent jobs, performance tuning, and backup/recovery. - Strong in writing large Stored Procedures. - Participate in code reviews and work autonomously as well as part of a team. - Assess the impact of change requests and develop solutions and mitigation strategies. - Interpret business requirements and provide systems/technical documentation.
