In your new role as a LAME , you will be responsible for performing rectification, servicing, maintenance and certification of Company and Client airlines, aircraft and equipment to ensure work performance meets/exceeds departmental and customer expectations. You’ll have: A recognised trade qualification in the Aviation Industry, Diploma or equivalent. Company endorsed CAT A licence (preferred) Ideally hold a CASA Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence rated on Dash 8 Q400, Dash 8 200/300 and/or A220 aircraft in the Mechanical B1 category. Extensive Aircraft servicing experience on various aircraft in a Line Maintenance environment Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement principles Proven ability to problem solve when under pressure A valid driver’s licence and the ability to hold a Red ASIC card Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within QantasLink and other customers Thorough knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures Commitment to be a customer-focused team worker, with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
