What's on offer: This is an excellent opportunity to join Townsville’s largest automotive dealership as a Parts Manager for our BMW Motorrad Dealerships. We are seeking an enthusiastic Parts Manager wishing to enhance their career in the automotive industry with Pickering's whilst becoming an integral part of our team. Work Days are Monday - Friday Work Hours are 8.00am - 5.00pm The Parts Manager needs to perform well under deadlines and outcomes while understanding the fluctuating needs for various replacement parts to excel in the role. You are responsible for keeping the business stocked with parts and meeting customers' needs with their maintenance and repairs. Parts main responsibilities will include the following: Identify and interpret automotive parts/components, which includes consulting catalogues and computer data. Carry out storage and stock control procedures. Sell, supply and order parts internally and externally. Receive and fill orders for the Service Department. Organise dispatch of parts. Answer phone and online sales inquiries. Maintain, supply and order spare parts as required. Invoice parts and raise back order invoices. Quote pricing of panel and parts when necessary. General duties as required by the Service Manager. Skills, Attributes & Licences required: An enthusiastic approach. Parts interpreting experience is highly regarded. Customer service skills and communication both written and verbal. Organisational skills within a dynamic and changing environment. Attention to detail. High levels of initiative and the ability to hit the ground running. C Class “O” Drivers Licence.
