We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply and join us in building a brighter future together.Your role: We have an excellent, fixed term opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team based in Sydney CBD for 12 months.Reporting to the Payroll Services Manager, this role will work in a small team to process end to end Payroll in a timely manner with high level of accuracy.In this role, you'll collaborate with a team of talented professionals and bring your unique skills and perspectives to support our goals.You'll have the option to work from home 2-3 days per week.Your responsibilities: Assist with administering payrolls, month end consolidation and processing support as required. Check and audit payrolls, ensuring legislative and award compliance and internal reporting requirements such as annual leave and intercompany. Maintain payroll system and leave planning system. Liaise with staff and management on payroll related queries. Provide prompt resolution of payroll queries across Australian and NZ payrolls. Assist Projects as required such as process improvement and standardisation of payroll systems. Assist managing Superannuation clearing house to include member administration and contribution payment. Ensure all payroll queries are investigated and resolved promptly and satisfactorily and in accordance with agreed SLA's. Support Payroll Services Manager with specific data reporting needs, including identifying developing appropriate solutions to fulfilment system/data needs of the business. The talent you bring: At least 2-5 years' experience as a Payroll Officer in Australian and NZ payroll processing environment. Strong knowledge of Australian and NZ payroll. Good experience working with MS Office, Payroll and Time and Attendance systems required. Experience in Sage Micropay is required.
