3 month temporary contract for an immediate start Established global business with hybrid flexibility About Our Client Our client is a highly respected company within the Business Services sector. With a large organisation size, it has a significant footprint across Australia and is known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and outstanding customer service. Job Description Processing weekly and monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Handling all payroll-related queries from employees and managers. Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions. Performing reconciliations of payroll accounts. Assisting with end-of-year payroll tasks, including tax calculations and reporting. Working closely with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Supporting the HR team with payroll-related tasks as needed. Contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives within the payroll function. The Successful Applicant A successful Payroll Officer should have: Proven experience in a similar payroll role within the Business Services industry. Strong understanding of payroll legislation and awards. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in payroll software systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. What's on Offer An hourly rate of approximately AUD $45-$55 per hour depending on experience.
