Synechron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pega Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This role demands a deep understanding of case management and workflow processes, along with a strong ability to lead engineering initiatives within the Pega platform. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in the Pega ecosystem and demonstrate a capacity to drive project success through innovative solutions and effective team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications. Manage and mentor a team of Pega engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing team skills and performance. Utilize case management expertise to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Apply a strong understanding of workflow principles to design effective and scalable solutions within the Pega platform. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, providing insights based on industry best practices and Pega capabilities. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on business operations. Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on Pega development and implementation. Proven experience in case management and a solid understanding of workflow processes. Familiarity with Pega decisioning tools is a plus but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Relevant Pega certifications are highly desirable.
