Job Description Position: Power System Modeling Analyst • Create and design architectural solutions for the CIM based power system modeling needs. • Have sound understanding of power system modeling concepts required for power system operations and system planning studies based on CIM framework and compliance for real-time and off-line applications. • Have strong experience in designing and building architecture for the CIM based Power System Model and its technological components. • Strong understanding of architectural components required to build the CIM models. • Have sound understanding of VRE, DER and Storage’s impact on power system scenarios and behavior. • Have strong understanding of power system modeling needs for advanced systems such as FACTS devices, SVC, STATCOM, Pumped Storage plants in real-time and study applications. Additional Preferred Skillsets: • The candidate should have experience in the development of UML CIM framework and modeling tools. • Have excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders such as System Operations teams, Grid Modeling, and System Planning Teams. • Have the ability to understand the business needs and derive business requirements for consumption by the development teams and end users. Experience: • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Power/Computer Science Engineering. • 5-7 years of experience in building architecture for CIM based Power System Modeling tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
