As a Sales Professional , you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective customers, embodying Followmont's values as the face of the company. Your role will be pivotal in sourcing and converting leads, ensuring freight is on dock at required yield/margin levels, and driving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Leverage data and research to identify potential customers, industries, and regions needing our transportation services. Conduct in-depth research into prospective customers to understand their business needs, operations, and pain points. Develop and execute a strategic visitation schedule for effective coverage and meaningful interactions. Present rate cards, marketing materials, and business differentiators while showcasing expertise in our services. Build rapport through on-site visits, understanding customer needs, and fostering strong relationships. Communicate updates on new routes, lanes, and services tailored to prospects’ needs. Maintain accurate and complete customer data in the CRM system for seamless follow-up and informed decision-making. Use persuasive communication and negotiation skills to secure new business. Demonstrated success in a transport sales environment, with a strong understanding of Freight, Logistics, and Forwarding (FLF) services. Relationship Builder: Engage effortlessly with new and existing contacts, fostering trust and loyalty.
