Newman Catholic College works collaboratively with James Cook University so that learning and teaching is enhanced at all year levels.About The Role The role of School Officer- Pathways Administration is to support the school vision through leadership of the learning and teaching program. This involves developing appropriate partnerships within and outside of the college; and prudently administering available resources.The School Officer- Pathways Administration will work in collaboration with the Leader of Engagement and Deputy Principal to support students in exploring appropriate careers and pathways. The School Officer- Pathways Administration is to ensure currency in Career Development, Vocational Education, and post-school pathways.Work Requirements Promote child safety at all times. Unless an exemption applies all staff are required to hold a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card or be eligible to apply. Tertiary qualifications at Diploma level and post-graduation qualifications in Career Counselling, Training and Assessment or a related study area and/or master’s in Vocational Education, Education or Further Education and Training or relevant experience as deemed appropriate by the Employer.
