Job Description
Temporary : 0.4 FTEThe College is seeking a Laboratory Technician who will be responsible for co-managing the efficient operation of the science laboratory area. This role is for the duration of Term 1 and may continue into Term 2 2025. The appointee will work within a two-person laboratory technician team to meet the needs of the science teachers in delivering the practical curriculum. The appointee will hold one of: Diploma of Applied Science or equivalent Relevant Certificate IV with significant experience Extensive relevant experience in a related field. In accordance with the Oxley Christian College ethos, all employees are required to comply with the College Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct (available on the College website), and other requirements of the Victorian Child Safe Standards. The position requirements, duties and responsibilities involve child-connected work. All employees are required to hold and maintain essential or relevant qualifications, and hold and demonstrate the necessary experience and attributes, in relation to child safety.
