If you are, the City of Sydney has an exciting opportunity available for a motivated individual to serve the community to ensure buildings are safe and healthy.We’re looking for someone with: Tertiary qualifications in Building, Building Science, Building Surveying, Engineering or equivalent. Extensive knowledge of essential fire safety measures within buildings and proven field experience in fire safety projects. Extensive knowledge and experience of relevant legislation including the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Local Government Act, the BCA/NCC series and Australian Standards as they relate to Fire Safety Systems and measures within buildings, including a sound understanding of building construction methods and materials. Experience in stakeholder management, including dealing with complex issues and an ability to negotiate and mediate on contentious matters.
