The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be at the forefront of Transgrid’s Hunter Transmission Project as a Senior Contract Manager. You will champion the contract cycle from project development to delivery, leading a talented team to ensure robust contract management and commercial success. Day in the Life Ensure all agreements are legally and commercially aligned and provide expert recommendations to senior management. Advocate for effective cost and revenue strategies across the team, track variations against funding, escalate potential overspends and oversee the resolution of disputes. Manage the financial position of multiple contracts and develop comprehensive contract management plans that’d directly ensure the Hunter Transmission Project’s success. The value you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline and experience in managing large construction contracts. Knowledge in tendering and evaluations and ability to develop sturdy internal and external relationships. Proven strong commercial background, negotiation skills and analytical skills. Highly proficient in the use of business systems, including MS Office.
