The role MidCoast Council is seeking a Senior Finance Officer – Taxation Compliance to join our Financial Accounting Team. Reporting to the Team Leader of Financial Accounting, this role is essential for supporting our financial and tax compliance tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records through taxation tasks such as BAS returns, Payroll Tax and FBT returns are accurate and complete. The role will be the Taxation expert for MidCoast Council. Ideally, we are looking for an individual with a diploma level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and relevant experience in taxation compliance activities. If you have a background in financial accounting and tax compliance and are skilled in maintaining accurate financial records, we encourage you to apply. Salary: Commencing salary package range circa $69,000 p.a. - $76,000 p.a. plus superannuation. (Dependent on skills and experience.) Tenure: Permanent, Full Time. What we offer?
