Our specialised disability support team leads with a multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring holistic support for our clients. Current programs include occupational therapy, physiotherapy, spinal nurse advisory, peer support mentorship, support coordination, and community initiatives. We exist, because you matter. Your role As estara’s Spinal Nurse Advisor, you will work closely with our expert Specialised Disability Support team, focussing on our impact across Greater Adelaide and wider South Australia. Day-to-day, you will work with our clients and provide individual consultative advice and support on a range of health matters specifically for those living with a spinal cord injury or related neurological conditions. In this position, you will support our clients with a spinal cord injury to live in the community and maintain their general health, wellbeing and lifestyle in order to live their potential. Nursing qualifications with current AHPRA registration A minimum of five (5) years’ nursing experience, preferably experience in community-based nursing Knowledge of continence management and catheter accreditation Experience in spinal, orthopaedic or rehabilitation nursing Comprehensive knowledge of rehabilitation and treatment following spinal cord injuries Special conditions Current South Australian full drivers’ licence is essential DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check and any relevant Screenings as stipulated by DHS/NDIS with at least 6 months’ validity Intrastate travel and work outside of normal business hours as required Apply or enquire now To learn more about this role, please feel welcome to make a confidential enquiry to estara’s Director of Specialised Disability Support, Lloyd Townsend, on 1800 378 272 or at Submit your application by 18 February 2025 to be considered for this exciting opportunity.
