Job Description
The Supply Chain Head will be responsible for managing and enhancing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Align supply chain activities with overall business objectives and market demands. Procurement Management: Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and supply. Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste. Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of goods. Oversee warehousing operations, ensuring efficient storage and handling of products. Collaborate with distribution partners to optimize delivery routes and schedules. Demand Planning: Analyze market trends and sales forecasts to anticipate demand. Develop and adjust supply plans to meet changing customer requirements. Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures throughout the supply chain process. Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals.
