Base pay range A$100,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr Systems Accountant D365 F&O (Remote - Australia) About the Role We are seeking a Systems Accountant to support our clients finance and IT teams by managing and optimizing financial systems within the D365 F&O environment . This is a transactional-technical role , focusing on ticket management, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless financial system operations. You will act as a Super User / SME , resolving system issues, assisting with purchase order management, and driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities Serve as a D365 F&O Super User / SME , providing expert-level system support. Manage ticketed requests , troubleshooting issues such as batch file errors and escalating when necessary. Follow ITIL processes to ensure structured incident management and resolution. Create and oversee purchase orders (POs) , including blanket POs . Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure system accuracy and efficiency. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions for optimization. Develop and maintain financial systems documentation. Train and support staff in financial tools and best practices. Participate in cross-functional projects, providing expertise in financial systems. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and processes. Required Skills & Experience Proven D365 F&O expertise , particularly from a user perspective. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field . Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
