  • Facilities Manager

As a Facilities Manager, you'll lead the delivery of a premium workplace experience, that support exceptional service to our clients, visitors and people, balancing operational excellence, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.As a Facilities Manager in our Business Operations team you will:Manage the maintenance of the tenancy and equipment by conducting preventative maintenance inspections and attend to and/or report faults so as to provide a safe working environmentTake ownership of workplace safety, operational risk and business continuity through proactive management of WH&S, emergency procedures, building security systems and the car parkLead complex workplace projects including relocations and refurbishments ensuring excellent stakeholder outcomes, operational continuity and an exceptional workplace experience.Provide day to day leadership to the Facilities and Guest Relations team, building capability, driving high service standard and ensuring the delivery of a seamless workplace and reception experience for clients, visitors and employees.Build strong networks with internal stakeholders and external service providers so as to maintain a high level of service This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.   • Senior Financial Accountant  

    - Sydney

    You'll be a part of our Finance team based in Sydney . Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Accountant plays a critical role in delivering timely and accurate Financial Accounting information and analysis to support management in making informed business decisions.
    As Senior Financial Accountant, you will lead the maintenance of the general ledger to ensure accurate accounting information and reliable financial reporting. Responsibilities include:Overseeing the month-end reporting and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately, and accounts are reconciled.Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing entries and ensuring proper accounting treatment for transactions.Participate in the year-end statutory reporting and audit, including coordinating the required documentation and providing explanations for audit queries.Assisting with budgeting and forecasting, including the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Track actual performance against budget and forecast, providing insights and recommendations for variances.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.Communicate financial results to senior management and other stakeholders.Ad hoc tasks
    This is a 12-month contract, full-tim e opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work, however, flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you. About you
    You will have: ICAANZ, or CPA qualified with 2+ years of post qualification experience.Experience in the professional services sector is desirable.Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, analysis and reporting with expertise in applying relevant accounting standards.Expertise in preparing comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.Experience overseeing the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accounts reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of financial results.Attention to detail, complex problem solving, and strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS, for comprehensive financial reporting and analysis.Strong communicator who is able to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.Client service focus and a willingness to engage with others coupled with a professional approach and presentation.Track record of being able to prioritise tasks and drive efficiency.Proficiency in software applications to optimise financial processes and reporting and improve efficiency.
