Job Description The Shutdown Planner is an identified individual allocated to manage the planning, coordination and execution of facilities shutdown/configuration change activities in support of planned maintenance and/or construction project works at JDFPG.The Shutdown Planner is responsible for the development of deliberate and controlled solutions to facilitate transitions between standard and non-standard facility critical infrastructure configuration. As part of this responsibility, the Shutdown Planner coordinates the creation of impact assessments, interpretation of relevant stakeholder comments, assisting the communication of technical impacts, drafting and review of configuration change procedures and associated documentation. During the execution phase of the configuration change, the Shutdown Planner is responsible for the overall management and coordination between identified stakeholders throughout the process, inclusive of conducting HV switching operations as required (training provided.)This position plays an integral role within a diverse and complex work environment and is a key advisor of the Project, O&M and customer teams across the Program Site. Responsibilities/Duties Lead the development, review and update of configuration and procedural documentation.Plan, coordinate, and administer tasks in support of critical infrastructure configuration changePrepare, develop, update and manage documentation relevant to facility standard configurationReview and provide technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems, from general concepts through to detailed IFC designs.
