As a Portfolio Analyst or Senior Portfolio Analyst - Investment Innovation and Capability, you'll play a key role in advancing the use of AI, machine learning and advanced analytics across our investment function.We're recruiting for two separate positions within Portfolio Intelligence:Portfolio Analyst - suited to an analytically minded professional looking to develop their expertise in investment analytics, machine learning and emerging technologies while working alongside experienced investment, data and technology specialists.Senior Portfolio Analyst - suited to an experienced analytics professional who can independently design and deliver analytical solutions, apply machine learning techniques in an investment context and help uplift capability across the team.In either role, you'll sit at the intersection of investments, data and technology, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance investment research, portfolio monitoring and decision-making. You'll work closely with investment professionals, data engineers and technology teams to explore new data sources, develop analytical tools, build automated workflows and help embed emerging technologies across the investment lifecycle.For the Senior Portfolio Analyst opportunity, you'll also take ownership of more complex analytical initiatives, provide technical leadership and mentor less experienced team members.These roles are permanent opportunities and can be based in Brisbane or Sydney.


    Responsibilities
    Day to day, you'll:Support or lead the development of analytics solutions that enhance investment research, portfolio monitoring and decision-making.Apply AI and machine learning techniques including NLP, predictive modelling and alternative data analysis.Work with investment stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical data-driven solutions.Contribute to machine-assisted research capabilities including signal identification, idea screening and data exploration.Build, test and enhance automated and agent-enabled workflows.Identify and evaluate new data sources, analytical methodologies and emerging AI technologies.Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to develop scalable analytical solutions and data pipelines.Translate complex analytical outputs into clear visualisations, insights and recommendations.Contribute to governance, testing, documentation and continuous improvement activities.Partner with stakeholders across investments, data and technology to support adoption of innovative capabilities.Mentor and support junior team members if applying for the Senior Portfolio Analyst opportunity.Contribute to best practices for AI, machine learning and analytics within Portfolio Intelligence.


    Qualifications

It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:You hold a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.Your experience includes data analysis, quantitative methods or analytics within investments, financial services or another data-rich environment.You'll have working knowledge or advanced proficiency in Python, SQL or similar analytical tools.You're interested in, or experienced with, applying machine learning and advanced analytics to real-world problems.You have an interest in or strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes and investment processes.Your background includes working with structured and unstructured data, including alternative data sources.You'll be capable of contributing to analytical projects or independently delivering end-to-end solutions depending on your level of experience.You're able to communicate technical concepts clearly and translate analytical outputs into business insights.You have experience or a strong interest in AI and machine learning techniques such as NLP, predictive modelling and related technologies.Your experience may include cloud and data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure or similar environments.You'll be interested in emerging technologies including agentic workflows, automation and AI-enabled decision support.You're able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and evolving environment. The Portfolio Analyst role will suit candidates looking to build their capability in investment analytics and AI, while the Senior Portfolio Analyst role will suit candidates with demonstrated experience designing and delivering analytical solutions in an investment, financial services or similarly data-rich environment.


  • Release Coordinator  

    - Brisbane

    Description

As a Release Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our Technology function, supporting the planning and coordination of enterprise-wide release activities. You'll work closely with Release Managers, project teams, and technical specialists to ensure releases are well-governed, aligned to timelines, and delivered with quality at the forefront.You'll help maintain and enhance our release framework, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensure teams collaborate effectively to meet release objectives. From managing release schedules and facilitating key forums, to coordinating testing and deployment resources, your work will enable smooth delivery of critical business outcomes.This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.


    Responsibilities
    • Coordinate the planning, monitoring and delivery of releases across multiple projects.
    • Align project release plans with enterprise release schedules and timelines.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the release management framework.
    • Facilitate release stand-ups, evaluation sessions and key stakeholder meetings.
    • Manage communication of release activities, risks and outcomes to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate resources across testing phases including SIT, UAT and regression.
    • Oversee dependencies across delivery, technical and business teams.
    • Monitor release risks, issues and defects, ensuring visibility and mitigation.
    • Maintain release dashboards, calendars and documentation across systems.
    • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on release processes and best practice.

    • You have strong dependency management skills across technologies and change initiatives.

As a Customer Listening Lead, you'll play an important role in transforming our current Voice of Customer program into a world-class, enterprise-wide customer listening capability.You'll bring together feedback from surveys, complaints, chat logs, call transcripts, reviews and operational data, helping our teams listen, learn and take meaningful action. You'll provide specialist expertise, align stakeholders and keep complex transformation work moving forward.This is an opportunity to shape how customer feedback is captured, understood and used across Australian Retirement Trust. You'll influence program design, establish practical frameworks and help turn customer insights into better experiences and outcomes.This role is a 12-month max-term / secondment opportunity due to parental leave and is ideally based in Brisbane, but we would be open to candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne.

    Responsibilities
    Day to day, you'll:Lead the planning, rollout and delivery of workstreams supporting the Customer Listening Program transformation.Maintain delivery momentum through workstream stand-ups, progress tracking, issue resolution and clear stakeholder communication.Develop and maintain program frameworks, delivery plans, governance materials and supporting documentation.Contribute to the design of surveys, real-time dashboards, data workflows and closed-loop feedback mechanisms.Help integrate structured and unstructured feedback from multiple customer touchpoints.Apply customer listening and Voice of Customer best practice to program design, measurement and operationalisation.Partner with Member, Adviser, Employer, Technology and Data teams to support implementation.Create and deliver practical guides, FAQs and training sessions that encourage program adoption.Ensure customer listening activities meet regulatory, privacy, risk and governance obligations.Design, refine and document processes that support effective business and operational outcomes.
