Alongside driving end-to-end delivery, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing negotiation strategies for critical technology arrangements, bringing together stakeholders from across Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, Finance and senior leadership.You'll work through complex commercial, technology and risk considerations, frame options and trade-offs for executives, and help drive timely decisions and strong outcomes for AP+.More broadly, you'll own project planning and execution, managing timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and change to ensure successful delivery. This Role Is Responsible For:Leading complex, high-value technology contract negotiations and renewals, from negotiation strategy through to execution. Developing clear negotiation strategies, objectives and commercial positions in partnership with key stakeholders. Coordinating complex cross-functional negotiations across Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, Finance and senior executives. Working through contractual considerations relating to operational resilience, cybersecurity, cloud services, data protection, incident management, business continuity and disaster recovery. Framing complex issues into clear options, trade-offs and recommendations to support executive decision-making. Developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets and resource requirements. Proactively identifying and managing project risks, issues and dependencies. Maintaining strong governance, reporting and documentation throughout delivery. Building trusted relationships across AP+ and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring project deliverables meet agreed objectives, quality standards and business requirements. In Order To Be Successful In This Role You'll Need To Demonstrate:Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value technology contract negotiations and renewals, including developing and executing negotiation strategies. Strong understanding of technology contracts, particularly provisions relating to operational resilience, cybersecurity, cloud services, data protection, incident management, business continuity and disaster recovery. Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional negotiations across Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, Finance and senior executives. Strong commercial judgement and the ability to understand competing priorities and translate complexity into practical recommendations. Excellent executive stakeholder management, with the ability to clearly frame options and trade-offs and drive timely decisions. Significant experience delivering complex projects, with strong capability across planning, governance, budgets, resources, risk and stakeholder management. The existing position specification calls for 5+ years' Senior Project Manager experience. Strong influencing and relationship-management skills, including the ability to facilitate decision-making and communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders. Experience within payments, financial services, technology or another complex regulated environment will be highly regarded. The Purpose As a Payments Operations Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the operational integrity and performance of Australia's payments ecosystem. Working within our Operations & Delivery team, you'll help ensure payment systems run smoothly, support the onboarding of new members and provide ongoing operational support to existing participants.This role combines operational analysis, incident management and stakeholder engagement to help maintain resilient, high-performing payment services. You'll work across teams to resolve issues, improve processes and deliver an exceptional experience for our members, while contributing to the continuous improvement of one of Australia's most critical payment infrastructures. This role is responsible for: Supporting the operational performance and availability of AP+'s payment systems and services. Analysing operational data and producing reporting that drives informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Supporting the onboarding of new members and providing operational assistance to existing participants. Investigating, managing and coordinating the resolution of operational incidents, problems and application issues. Contributing to operational risk management, quality assurance activities and compliance with internal standards. Identifying trends, root causes and opportunities to improve operational processes and service performance. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries, manage issues and maintain strong working relationships. Maintaining operational documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the Payments Operations function. To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate: Experience in an Operations Analyst, Payments Operations or similar operational support role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends and recommend improvements. Experience supporting live applications, incident management and operational problem resolution. Knowledge of payment systems, financial services or technology environments would be highly regarded. An understanding of operational risk, quality assurance and continuous improvement principles. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
