  • Mobilisation Officer

    About the Role We're looking for two enthusiastic and organised Mobilisation Officers to join our team! 1 x Full-time, permanent position 1 x Fixed-term position to cover maternity leave Whether you're looking for a permanent opportunity or a fixed-term role, this is a great chance to join a supportive team and grow your experience with FMS Group. These roles are ideal for someone with mobilisation, training or site administration experience who enjoys working with people, managing competing priorities and making sure our employees are ready to get to site. Working closely with our operational teams, you'll play an important role in coordinating employee mobilisation, maintaining training and compliance records, and helping ensure our workforce meets client and site requirements. What You'll Be Doing You'll help keep our people moving and our mobilisation processes running smoothly, including: Coordinating and booking employee inductions with BMA, Glencore, Anglo and other clients as required. Maintaining accurate employee training and competency records. Updating and monitoring client systems to ensure employee compliance. Coordinating Coal Board Medical bookings. Monitoring upcoming qualification and competency expiries and scheduling required training. Managing training compliance requirements and maintaining the division's Training Needs Analysis (TNA). Working closely with operational teams to support mobilisation requirements and meet deadlines. Following up outstanding documentation, training and compliance items to keep things moving. About You You're someone who takes initiative, enjoys working with others and knows the importance of getting the details right. You'll ideally bring: Previous experience in mobilisation, training coordination or a similar administration role. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate records. Clear communication and the ability to build positive working relationships. A flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.   • Financial Accountant

    FMS Group is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and play an important role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting the Group's month-end, reporting and financial accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and working collaboratively across Finance and the broader business. About the Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support the day-to-day financial accounting function across the Group, ensuring our financial records are accurate, complete and well supported. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining accurate and complete general ledger records. Preparing and posting journals, accruals, prepayments, allocations and reclassifications. Supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes. Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations. Investigating accounting anomalies, coding issues and unreconciled balances. Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with accounting and system issues. Maintaining fixed asset records and depreciation. Preparing and reconciling intercompany accounts. Supporting BAS/GST, audit and statutory reporting requirements. Managing day-to-day cashbook and bank reconciliation activities. Preparing and maintaining short- and medium-term cashflow forecasts. Identifying opportunities to improve Finance processes, systems and controls. Providing financial accounting support to the Financial Controller and broader Finance team. About You You're a detail-focused accounting professional who takes ownership of your work and enjoys solving problems. You will ideally bring: A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. CPA or CA qualification completed or in progress. Experience in financial accounting, general ledger maintenance and reconciliations. Strong month-end close experience. Sound knowledge of journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, intercompany and GST. Experience supporting AP and AR teams with accounting and transactional issues. Strong Excel and ERP systems skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Finance and operational stakeholders. Experience in mining services, construction, engineering, manufacturing or the resources sector will be highly regarded. Why Join FMS Group?
