    Job Title: Operations/ Quality Control Coordinator (Full Time)Company: Dopa Franchise Pty LtdReports To: Group Area Operations ManagerLocation: Multiple Venues (Travel Required)Salary Range: $77,000 - $85,000 per annum Job Overview:The Operations/Quality Control Coordinator supports the consistent execution of food quality, safety, and operational standards across all DOPA Donburi & Desserts venues. Working closely with the Group Area Operations Manager and venue teams, this role helps implement quality control procedures, monitors daily operations, and assists in training and performance tracking. The coordinator plays a key role in maintaining uniformity across kitchen and milk bar operations while promoting continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:1. Food Standards & Quality ControlAssist in enforcing company-wide QC protocols for food receiving, prep, portioning, and presentationConduct routine checks to ensure compliance with Australian Food Safety standardsSupport consistency in taste, portioning, and plating across venues2. Operational ConsistencyHelp implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen and milk bar workflowsCoordinate inventory, food storage, and equipment practices across locationsSupport the rollout of new menus and operational updates3. Team Support & TrainingIdentify areas for improvement in store team performanceAssist in delivering hands-on training in food safety, preparation, and service efficiencyCollaborate with Store and Kitchen Managers to support staff development 4. Performance MonitoringHelp track performance benchmarks and operational metricsProvide feedback and observations to kitchen leaders and teamsMonitor food waste, kitchen speed, and safety compliance5. Compliance & SafetySupport venues in meeting food safety and health regulationsMonitor kitchen cleanliness and food handling practicesAssist in resolving compliance issues and implementing corrective actions6. Problem Solving & Continuous ImprovementAct as a resource for day-to-day operational challengesSuggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and qualityWork with the Group Area Operations Manager on initiatives to improve guest satisfaction7. Ad Hoc ProjectsParticipate in special projects such as venue openings or menu updatesCoordinate short-term initiatives with clear goals and timelinesEnsure projects meet quality expectations and deadlines About You:Experience3-5 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant operations, ideally in a supervisory or coordinator roleSolid understanding of operational workflows, food safety standards, and venue performance metricsExperience managing inventory, labour efficiency, and supporting cost control initiatives Leadership SkillsProven ability to lead by example and positively influence team performanceSkilled in coaching, staff development, and fostering a collaborative team cultureConfident decision-maker who remains calm and solutions-focused under pressure Operational ExpertiseExceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsStrong organizational and time management skills; experienced in scheduling, compliance, and operational consistencyFlexible availability, including evenings and weekends, to support venue needs Team PlayerExcellent interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindsetA hands-on coordinator who builds trust and rapport across teamsNatural problem solver who thrives in dynamic, high-pressure settingsWilling and able to travel frequently between venues to provide on-site leadership and support
