Ensure that food preparation areas and kitchen equipment are clean and hygienic. Operate industrial dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment. Sweep, mop and sanitize kitchen floors and dining areas regularly. Dispose of waste appropriately, including food and packaging products. Support the kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking, including cutting vegetables and other basic tasks. Help with organizing and managing inventory of kitchen supplies. Adhere to food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times. Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends if required. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards the team members and customers. Qualifications Prior experience in a similar position or working environment is preferred. Good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task in a busy kitchen environment. Must be physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. You will deliver cocktails, beer and wine service while keeping the bar organised, stocked and ready for trade. Here, your human skills when engaging with guests matter just as much as your bar skills. Key responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Take ownership of bar setup, service and close-down procedures. Engage guests and provide confident beverage recommendations. Ensure and uphold guest experience throughout their journey with us. Keep the bar clean, organised and correctly stocked. Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements. Assist with stocktakes, transfers, wastage and breakage recording. About you A minimum of one year's bartending experience in a busy restaurant, bistro or quality bar is preferred. Basic cocktail, wine and beer knowledge. Have a solutions-focused, can-do attitude.
