  • Senior Analyst - Regulatory Reporting  

    - Sydney

    ING, Australia's most recommended bank is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst Regulatory Reporting to join our high-performance COO Data Delivery - Risk team. Using your well-developed data driven insights capability, you'll have the unique opportunity to solve a broad range of projects and will be responsible for driving the solution design. In this role you'll have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives such as achieving sustainable, optimized growth for ING Australia while engaging and supporting a broad range of stakeholders whilst developing your own skills and knowledge across the credit lifecycle. Reporting to the Manager - Regulatory Reporting, You'll act as a subject matter expert for regulatory reporting, partnering with Risk, Finance, Data, Technology, and Project teams to ensure accurate reporting, data quality, regulatory compliance, and effective control management. Responsible for reconciliations, reporting oversight, issue resolution, audit readiness, and governance.

    Also supports regulatory change and transformation initiatives through business analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and production support, while providing BAU expertise for incidents, defects, change requests, and data quality remediation.     What you'll do
    Own and deliver APRA regulatory returns accurately, completely, and on time.Execute reporting controls, data quality checks, reconciliations, and trend analysis.Investigate reporting issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation.Act as the SME for regulatory requirements, reporting methodologies, and data definitions.Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Data, Technology, and Operations teams to enhance reporting outcomes.Support regulatory change initiatives and continuously improve reporting processes, controls, and governance.

  • Financial Accountant (14 months fixed term contract)

    Join a high-performing Finance team where you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate financial, regulatory and statutory reporting while helping drive automation and reporting transformation initiatives.
    Reporting to the Manager, External Reporting, you'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of external reporting obligations, including Head Office, Statutory and Regulatory reporting. You'll ensure reporting is accurate, timely and well-controlled while identifying opportunities to enhance processes, data quality and automation capabilities.
    What you'll do

    Prepare and deliver Head Office, statutory and regulatory reporting, including APRA submissions, in line with accounting standards and group requirements.Support financial statement preparation, Board reporting and external audit requirements.Analyse financial and reporting data to identify insights, reporting issues and opportunities for control enhancement.Drive reporting transformation, automation and process improvement initiatives using SQL, Power BI and Power Query.Build effective relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Technology and external auditors.

    What we're looking for
    CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion).3-5 years' experience in banking, financial services or a Big 4 accounting environment.Strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory reporting and accounting principles.Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing large and complex data sets.Proficiency in SQL, Power Query and Power BI is highly regarded.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • External Dispute Resolution Case Manager

We're looking for two External Dispute Resolution Managers to join our Customer Excellence team and help resolve complex customer complaints, disputes and scam-related matters referred through external bodies such as AFCA. In this role, you'll manage some of ING's most complex and sensitive customer matters, including complaints relating to scams and disputed transactions. You'll investigate issues, analyse evidence, navigate evolving regulatory requirements and work closely with stakeholders to deliver fair and balanced outcomes for our customers and the business. This role sits within our Customer Excellence team, a specialist team known for its expertise in dispute resolution, regulatory obligations and customer advocacy. Working across a broad range of complaints, you'll help identify root causes, influence business improvements and ensure customers receive fair and timely resolutions. These are permanent roles that can be based in either Sydney or Wyong.
    What you'll do
    Manage AFCA and External Dispute Resolution complaints from investigation through to resolution.Investigate and resolve complex complaints relating to scams, disputed transactions and other customer matters.Review customer files, transaction information, business processes and supporting evidence to determine fair and balanced outcomes.Prepare detailed written submissions, recommendations and complaint responses for customers, AFCA and internal stakeholders.Support customers experiencing vulnerability with empathy, care and professionalism.Identify complaint trends, systemic issues and operational risks, providing insights that improve customer outcomes and business processes. What we're looking for Experience handling complex complaints, disputes and investigations within banking and financial services.Experience dealing with scams, fraud and transaction disputes is highly regarded.Strong written communication skills with experience preparing detailed complaint responses, submissions or investigation outcomes.Experience working with AFCA, EDR schemes, RG271 or regulatory complaint frameworks will be highly regarded.Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex information and make evidence-based decisions.Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the confidence to navigate challenging conversations and achieve positive outcomes.
