The Senior Executive Assistant provides a range of executive, secretarial and administrative support services across a range of complex issues to support the Senior Executive/s achievement of organisational objectives.
What you'll do As the Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, Homes NSW you analyse and assess requests in order to prioritise matters, and initiate action exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality to facilitate the optimal use of the CEO's time Manage the CEO's diary appointments, records and correspondence, coordinate travel arrangements and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of the Executive's operational area/directorate/division Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders within and outside of Homes NSW and the Department of Communities and Justice Review high level communication including briefing notes and correspondence, to respond to issues and enquiries while acting with discretion Ensure efficient communication across the CEO's office and with Executive Director offices across Homes NSW

Your role
The role will be responsible for performing various administrative activities supporting Major and Specialised Projects team as required in the effective and efficient delivery of respective projects and programs such as capital works upgrade projects, fire and termite damaged restoration projects, acquisition upgrade program and demolition program.

Your role
This is an exciting opportunity to manage the operational service compliance and performance arrangements for vendor sourced services in the Information Technology arena within the Department of Communities and Justice.
What you'll do
As part of the Information and Digital Services team within the Corporate Services Branch, your core responsibilities will include; Acting as the single point of operational escalation for the vendor and internal DCJ clients Monitor supplier performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Facilitate the prioritisation process for non-catalogue item requests (small to large project requests and minor enhancements) across a diverse client base Review vendor proposals, briefs and statements of works to ensure any integration requirements and impacts are identified and projects are appropriately resourced and timed between external and internal stakeholders Develop compliance audit plans to assess vendor service compliance, including leading regular service reviews with service providers and communicating and validating service outcomes with clients Maintain current and accurate service costing models to reflect the standards of service, in order to manage the operational cost centre budgets, and resultant cost recovery. Identify environmental, organisational and user behaviours that influence cost of services and implement strategies to optimise vendor costs.

About the team
NSW Trustee and Guardian can be appointed by a court or tribunal to manage a person's finances and legal affairs if their decision-making ability is impaired due to disability, age, mental illness or injury. Our Estate Management teams deliver high quality financial management services to customers through our Foundation team, Proactive Customer Management team and Customer Independence and Support team.
The Customer Foundation Team is responsible for the high-quality onboarding of new customers where a financial management order has been made. The team works with the customer and important people in their life to ensure NSW Trustee and Guardian has a good understanding of the customer's financial situation, financial decisions that may need to be made and how they can be supported into the future.

Your role
Homes NSW is a division of the Department of Communities and Justice. It brings together the housing and homelessness functions of the Department of Communities and Justice, the NSW Land and Housing Corporation, Aboriginal Housing Office and key worker housing functions from across government all under one roof.
Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW.
You will manage the provision of financial services and resources to provide high quality financial advice, services and systems to the business. Ensure all transactions, projects and associated reporting is provided efficiently and accurately so that management is fully informed of the business' financial position.
What you'll do Provide periodic financial position reports and financial based advice to Housing Services' management team, including the delivery of key inputs for financial statements, and the Preparation of Board financial reports, including other stakeholder reports as required. Provide the Housing Services management team with in-depth analysis of financial data and financial modelling to make informed business decisions. Perform month end, year-end processing and early close procedures to ensure compliance with departmental finance requirements, including interpreting any new requirements. Manage financial audit, investigate and resolve anomalies and oversee reporting to ensure compliance with legal obligations related to financial administration Provide input for requirements of Treasury and other agency stakeholders to ensure delivery of state sector budget inputs, new policy proposals and adjustments to budget in a timely and accurate manner. Work with the business for the development of budgets, budget planning and forecasting, review and tracking, ensuring financial standards are met and policies and procedures are fit for purpose. Work constructively with staff in the business support team who are responsible for financial transaction management, coordinating and ensuring the quality of financial records. Demonstrate a strong understanding of AASB and its specific application to capitalisation of assets. Complete quarterly capitalisation certificates to correctly recognise assets in a timely fashion.
What we're looking for Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a business-related discipline and membership of a recognised Australian professional accounting body (ie CA/CPA/IPA) or extensive experience in leading, managing and delivering in a financial services environment. Knowledge of current knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards. Knowledge of Treasury Directions and Government Sector Finance Act will be highly regarded. Well-rounded financial experience encompassing reporting, providing accurate and strategic advice, along with financial modelling and analysis and supporting projects as required Strong interpersonal skills and written communication
