The Servicing Support Officer plays a critical role in delivering "Best in Class" customer service by ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely execution of servicing activities. This role supports Customer Operations through the management of customer and third-party enquiries, Novated Servicing, and Consumer Credit Reporting-including handling disputes, investigations, corrections, and rejections. To support operational flexibility, the Specialist may also provide cross team assistance within other teams reporting into the Operations Manager - Customer Service, during periods of increased demand, project activity, or elevated volumes. This ensures consistent service delivery, balanced workloads across teams, and the ability to deploy resources where they are most needed. The Specialist also contributes to the integrity of reporting provided to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability across all support service functions. About youKey Skills & Experience:Demonstrated experience managing an Asset Finance collections portfolio, with responsibility for accounts 60+ days in arrears.Strong understanding of collections processes, hardship considerations, and customer-focused debt recovery practices.Experience negotiating payment arrangements and achieving positive customer and business outcomes.Sound knowledge of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP) and associated regulatory requirements.Proven ability to locate and re-establish contact with customers through skip tracing activities, which will be highly regarded.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally and empathetically.Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a high-volume portfolio while meeting performance targets.
