We are currently seeking to fill one Casual Medical Receptionist position, offering a flexible opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our busy specialist clinics at the hospital Medical Centre and Specialist Centre in Bunbury.Key responsibilities Provide front-line reception and telephone support to patients and visitors.Manage patient appointments, referrals and specialist booking requirements.Maintain accurate patient records and data entry.Process Medicare billing, receipting, banking and petty cash transactions.Coordinate pre-admission information, pathology and diagnostic testing requirements.Prepare and manage medical records and correspondence.Liaise effectively with patients, families, medical practitioners and multidisciplinary teams.Undertake medical typing and other administrative duties as required.Your skillsYou are a friendly, professional and highly organised administrator who enjoys supporting patients and clinicians in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
