    Assistant Project Manager
    We're on the lookout for a client-side Assistant Project Manager with experience in social infrastructure (including education, health, housing, sports), Aviation and Defence sectors to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. At RPS, you won't just manage projects-you'll help shape communities, influence outcomes, and lead critical government and private sector initiatives. You'll work closely with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle supporting project planning, stakeholder engagement, procurement, design and construction phases. What You'll Bring 1 - 2+ years of demonstrated recent project management, construction project experience with client project experience desirable.Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar.Not mandatory, an understanding of different forms of construction contracts and contract administration experience Good client and stakeholder managementWell-developed spoken and reporting / writing skills with strong competence in computer software including the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Microsoft Project desirable.     Project Manager
    Due to exceptional growth and success, the RPS Project Management team are seeking a motivated and qualified client-side Project Manager who has previous experience in successfully delivering infrastructure and capital projects within the Defence or government sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in Building and Construction, Infrastructure, Contract Management and Contract Administration, Government Approvals, Property Management and similar. This position is based in Townsville, with a high performing team, who is a market leader in project management and who specialise in the delivery of large complex projects. Relocation package available! About you A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Property, Engineering, or similar is desirable.Strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contractor, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct is preferable;Previous experience across Defence capital projects, including Defence writing skills;Previous experience in Contract and Claims Administration;Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;Demonstrated ability to lead projects, teams and manage and grow business relationships;Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner;Proactive and able to think strategically;Australian Citizen and able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.10+ years client-side PM or a PMCA in the industries as mentioned above and familiarity with Defence delivery procedures including Commonwealth Procurement Rules (would be preferable, but not essential)AIPM Accreditation or equivalent would be advantageous.
