Job Description
12V Electrical Installer - Heavy Truck & Tank Electrician Looking for a 12 Volt Electrical Installer for Heavy Trucks. Responsibilities: Install new 12 Volt electrical assemblies such as truck mounted lights, switches, and actuators. Install and fit air actuated assemblies and airlines. Pull wires and airlines and harnesses through chassis and body. Connect wires and harnesses to cab. Connect and disconnect truck batteries and necessary electrical wiring. Troubleshoot electrical and air system faults. Provide cut-outs in the cab and body to facilitate equipment mounting. Read electrical schematics. Required Skills: Experience in 12 Volt Electrical systems. Experience and knowledge of small hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, impact drivers, hand drills, etc. Candidates must possess their own hand tools.
