Job Description
Top Office Group is a preferred supplier to Community Recovery, the Queensland Government department responding to the current weather event (Cyclone Alfred) in SE Queensland. We have been advised that hubs will likely open this weekend (across Brisbane, northside, southside, bayside, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast). We are urgently seeking candidates with immediate availability for temporary AO4 Recovery Worker positions (casual rate of $58.02/hour with overtime paid as per Clerks Private Sector Award). Our Recovery Workers provide face-to-face customer service to Queenslanders affected by Cyclone Alfred. This includes information about the Queensland Government grants that are available, together with assistance with completing grant applications. A high level of communication, interpersonal skills and empathy is essential, together with availability to work 5 shifts/week (rostered any day of the week from Monday to Sunday). Initial duration likely to be 2-4 weeks but may extend. We also provide grant processing and administration support for Statewide Operations in South Brisbane and expect additional roles in these teams also.
