About the opportunity Applications are invited for eligible medical officers to join our team to complete their PGY3+ clinical year at Mercy Health (Werribee Campus). These are 6 or 12-month positions commencing on 3rd February or 4th August 2025. Mercy Health has a number of PGY3 or above General Stream positions suitable for those applicants who will have obtained their General Registration with AHPRA by commencement at Mercy. Vacancies: Intensive Care General Surgery O&G Please note: all HMOs will be assigned a relieving rotation during the year. Every effort will be made to provide rotations of your choice, taking into consideration current training requirements, previous experience, and demands of particular rotations. However, this is not a guarantee. Eligibility: To apply, individuals should fall into the categories below, provided they are eligible for General Medical Registration in Australia: Australian Trained (Permanent Resident) Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty Australian Trained (Permanent Resident) Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty Australian Medical Council Graduate (who has obtained Permanent Residency and is completing the requirements for General Medical Registration in Australia) New Zealand Medical Graduates (Permanent Resident or International full-fee student) International Medical Graduate who will complete 12 months of workplace-based assessment at an Australian hospital (Competent Authority Pathway) What you'll bring You're resilient, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
