Successful candidates will obtain a Permanent contract with MDHS, as follows: 2025 - 2026: RN Graduate Program. 2026 - onwards: Ongoing Contract. Graduate Nurse Support is provided by: Clinical support, mentorship and organisational education opportunities; Supernumerary and orientation time are provided within the program structure, as is Annual Leave per the EBA; Paid study days spread throughout the program with additional study days offered; Regular debriefing; Access to a variety of interactive E-Learning programs including targeted online CPD topics to assist your development. Key Selection Criteria Registered Nurse Qualifications / Experience · Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions. Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills · Sound understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse. · Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation. · Ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. · Knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities. · Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice. · Excellent organisational skills particularly with respect to time management. · Well-developed interpersonal skills. · Excellent communication and computer skills at the level required to fulfil that role.
