About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Neurology Fellow/Junior Consultant working alongside a dedicated Neurosciences team. Our Neurologists provide strong leadership, guidance and expertise in the management of acute stroke and neurology which includes the delivery of thrombolysis and decision making around clot retrieval with support from our stroke co-ordinator. The unaccredited registrar role rotates through the Stroke/Neurology and Ambulatory positions as required, assists in the acute service and consultative neurology service provided to UHG. On call and weekend call is shared between the entire neuro team including two BPTs who participate in the service with continuous consultant support. Our team aims to consistently provide evidence-based care, education and support to reduce the impact on people and their families with neurological conditions, working alongside experienced specialist nurses, researchers, allied health and clinical teams throughout the organisation.
