We are recruiting: Engineering and Construction Disciplines: Electrical, Renewable Energy, Civil, Construction, Mechanical and Mechatronic: As Engineering and Construction graduates you will have access to over 60 unique placements, offering an exceptional opportunity to broaden your skills and expertise across diverse Business Units. These placements include design, analysis, and network planning, as well as development, project controls, commercial operations, and construction. This well-rounded comprehensive experience will prepare you for a successful long-term career at Transgrid, with potential roles after the program including Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Designer, Project Developer, Site Manager, and Project Controller. Business and IT Disciplines: Commerce, Finance, and Economics: Contribute to financial planning, risk management, and strategic decisions. Kick-start your career in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Strategy, or Transformation. Information Technology and Cyber: Strengthen skills in IT support, project management, and cyber security. Lead digital innovation and safeguard critical data, starting your career in IT support or cyber security roles. Human Resources: Drive talent management strategies and enhance employee experiences. Gain exposure across Recruitment, Employment Relations, Remuneration and Organisational Development while developing leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills. Eligibility Criteria: Degree: Hold or be in your final year of your degree in your relevant discipline:Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering Civil Engineering Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering Construction or Project Management Human Resources Management or Industrial/Employment Relations Commerce, Finance or Economics Information Technology or Cyber Security Australian or New Zealand Citizen/Permanent Resident or eligible permanent visa holder Graduate or Expected Graduate by end of 2025 Available for Assessment Centre in-person in Ultimo between 6th and 9th May 2025. Demonstrate key qualities: Strong team player, clear communicator, lateral thinker, and passionate about environmental and social responsibility The Recruitment Process: Eligibility: Check your eligibility and ensure you meet the required degree qualification. Online Testing: If you pass screening, you will receive an email with instructions for our 12-minutes online test covering numeracy, literacy and abstract reasoning. Online Video Interview: Candidates who meet the cognitive testing benchmark will be invited to complete a one-way video interview. Shortlisting: The recruitment team will evaluate your video interview and notify you if you are unsuccessful. Assessment Centre: Successful candidates will be invited to our in-person Assessment Centre, scheduled in Ultimo, 6th - 9th May 2025. Pre-Employment Checks: Candidates selected at the Assessment Centre will be invited to undergo pre-employment checks. Offer of Employment: Successful candidates will receive a verbal offer of employment followed by a formal written offer sent by email.
