Job Description Sydney Airport is on an exciting mission to redefine travel under our bold ‘Towards 2 Billion Passengers’ strategy! As a dynamic member of the 2050 Program, you’ll help shape groundbreaking initiatives that fuel growth and elevate the passenger experience alongside our airline partners.This role is perfect for someone bursting with energy, enthusiasm, and a flair for creative problem-solving. You’ll have the freedom to explore, research, and develop innovative solutions, playing a key role in scoping and refining projects that align with Sydney Airport’s ambitious vision. In this role, you will be: Supporting the ideation and definition of strategic initiatives under the 2050 Program to drive growth and improve passenger services. Collaborating with the Operations Team to clearly define initiatives, ensuring objectives, benefits, and value are articulated for project progression. Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Analysing data using various tools and techniques to inform decision-making and validate strategic feasibility. Assisting in the commercial evaluation and preparation of business cases to align initiatives with Sydney Airport’s strategic goals. Identifying key risks and supporting the development of effective mitigation strategies for strategic initiatives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and successful outcomes. Preparing and delivering clear reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate progress and insights to stakeholders, including senior leadership. About You A relevant undergraduate degree, preferably in aviation, commerce, finance, economics, or accounting. At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, ideally within large organisations or complex projects. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, financial modelling, valuations, and investment evaluation. A robust understanding of project management principles and their practical application. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, particularly for data analysis and presentation. A practical, problem-solving approach focused on enhancing business performance and outcomes. Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced, customer-centric environments with complex stakeholder landscapes.
