A little about our centre: Valencia Drive Early Learning Centre Valencia Drive Early Learning Centre is a new purpose-built long day care centre in Orange, NSW. We provide a nurturing, educational, and fun environment for 0–6 year-old children. Our aim is to build a collective group of passionate, professional, and dedicated educators to provide a high-quality service to help children grow and feel confident for their future education. This exciting opportunity is one not to be missed! We are looking for a full-time Nominated Supervisor to join our team. Someone who has strong people skills and who can manage and lead by example. Full Time, Monday – Friday Flexible hours Duties will include: Effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the centre including rostering, leading, and mentoring staff in line with policies and procedures. Support children and all stakeholders of the service. Ensure programming for children’s learning and development reflects the EYLF and NQS. Keeping up to date with legislative changes and industry knowledge. Using Xplor and other administrative software solutions to effectively run the service. Communicate with staff, children, families, and the community ensuring the smooth running of the service. Ensuring the centre's physical environment is safe, well-maintained, and conducive to learning and play. Qualifications and Experience: ACECQA Approved Early Childhood Teaching degree, or Diploma in Early Childhood. Current WWCC, First Aid Certificate, Child Protection and Asthma & Anaphylaxis training certificates. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. Proven ability to lead and manage a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with contributing to the development of a QIP. Experience with the new assessment process. Experience in staff rostering.
