Established in 1985, it manufactures and markets conveyor components including pulleys, idlers, rapid advance-rapid retreat components and drive-heads, and provides on-site installation, maintenance, and relocation of conveyor installations.Our Opportunity To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Mechanical 3D Designer to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our site service team at Unanderra, NSW. Creating Technical Drawings at all levels i.e., Layouts, Arrangements, Assemblies, and Details 3D modelling and detailing using input from engineers and senior designers in the team. Determine factors like tolerances, dimensioning, weldability, and ease of assembly. Create designs in line with company procedures, regulations, and client standards. Assist with field and manufacturing problems. Site Services and Engineering functions such as design reviews, risk assessments and execution activities. About You Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline Demonstrated proficiency in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor, Autocad, Professional Vault, Navisworks). 5+ years’ experience in a design role or related experience. Bulk Material Handling or Heavy Industrial/Mining Industry experience Belt Conveyor Design experience Working knowledge of the appropriate Australian standards such as AS4024, AS1100, AS1654 and AS1657. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Full Drivers Licence Why NEPEAN?
