Job Description

Jenner & Co is partnering with one of its repeat 3PL & Transport client's in Sydney to source their new 3PL Site Manager. FYI - Multi Customer 3PL Site Management experience is required for this role. Role Overview: To be responsible for all operational activities relating to the Logistics Warehouse Customers and the operations team members. To ensure all activities, warehouse layout and materials handling activities are in line with practice methodology, and allocated resources are utilised and coordinated to ensure the agreed customer service standards and safety requirements are met and maintained. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring all team members (including temp labour hire workers or contracted service provider) receive the appropriate training and instructions to perform their tasks in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures, including Health & Safety and WMS system. Managing all the team located within the Warehouse (People management functions including payroll, leave planning, performance reviews, training, counselling and disciplinary action, in conjunction with relevant manager or advice as appropriate). Optimising allocation, productivity and motivation of our people (including temps), and ensure resource is scaled with revenue to maximise profitability. (Maintain cost control at all times through labour resource management and proactive reaction to fluctuations in customer activity levels.) Acting as the prime contact for all daily operational issues and resource planning and to be tasked with identifying areas of inefficiency, provide cost savings and adding value for the benefit of both company and our customers/clients. Consistently meeting customers agreed SLA to 100%. Monitoring weekly, daily and hourly activity performance to ensure the required productivity levels are maintained. Ensuring stock put away and order processing is performed in line with best practice methodology. Ensuring all activities are reflected in the customers’ revenue and rate schedules. Ensuring through daily cyclic counts that inventory integrity is maintained to expected levels. Maintaining cost control at all times through labour resource management and proactive reaction to fluctuations in customer activity levels. Adhering to financial requirements and following the budget/responding to changes in the client and labour resourcing requirements in line with budget. Ensuring all customer/client requests are properly received, recorded and processed in a timely and efficient way. To convey a helpful, friendly and courteous manner when dealing with customers/clients. Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and serviced in accordance with Company Policy, regulatory requirements and manufacturer recommendations. Skills Required: Computer literate in Word, Power Point, Email and Excel applications Experienced Logistics supervisor or manager Demonstrated stock control/inventory experience Strong “customer 1st’ ethic Strong communicator (written and verbal) Experience with WMS Brilliant communication, organizational and problem-solving skills If this exciting opportunity is of interest to you, please click Apply.
