With a strong foundation built on experience and further study, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager in leading and mentoring a dedicated team of nurses and midwives. Your expertise will contribute to the ongoing development of practice, ensuring continuity and consistency of care while promoting best practices across the unit. In this role, you will be entrusted with a diverse portfolio, assisting with key management functions such as recruitment, rostering, and performance management. You will collaborate with senior leaders to implement practice changes and ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Your ability to guide and support less experienced staff will be essential in developing a cohesive and effective team, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment. About You We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse/midwife to join our team. If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and have a strong commitment to leadership, this could be the perfect role for you. Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-registration experience. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare standards, legislation, and quality improvement.
