About the Team The Infrastructure team plays a crucial role within the ICT section of the Digital Branch, responsible for supporting the development, delivery, and management of the NFSA’s digital media infrastructure, storage, and network services. The Opportunity The Infrastructure and Networks Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the NFSA’s network infrastructure. This position ensures the optimal performance, security, and reliability of the organisation’s digital media, storage, and network services. Key Responsibilities/Duties Deploying and maintaining infrastructure to agreed standards and timelines. Troubleshooting system and network issues, diagnosing hardware and software faults. Developing and maintaining technical documentation for network, server, storage, and communication systems. Managing the release of changes and patches in a controlled manner. Managing onsite and data centre networks to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability. Monitoring system performance, implementing security measures, and troubleshooting issues. Responding to and managing network incidents and outages. Contributing to capacity planning to ensure scalability and long-term infrastructure support. Selection Criteria Experience deploying, maintaining, and managing infrastructure systems. Strong troubleshooting skills in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Expertise in monitoring network performance and managing incidents. Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation. Strong communication skills with experience in building relationships. Desired Skills and Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in technical roles involving network infrastructure.
